Revd. Lindsay Meader at the dedication of 'The Vance Room'

JANET Vance, who passed away on Friday 27th May 2011 aged 62, was best remembered around Soho for unstinting hard work at St Anne’s, where she was a “powerful and loving presence”. 

In recognition of the valuable and selfless help she gave to St Anne’s it was agreed that a special room at the church would be named after her and dedicated to her memory.

The dedication of the room by the Revd. Lindsay Meader took place at 12:30 on Thursday 3^rd November.

All those who knew Janet will attest to her love and devotion not only to St Anne’s, but to the people in Soho and surrounding area. As time passes and memories fade the dedication of the room will remain as a permanent testament to Janet and her life.
