In the midst of darkness - Light has dawned!
Light comes into our darkened world and if we pause for a moment, we too can behold the glory that this little child brings to us. We like those who first visited the Christ child can be filled with awe and wonder as we come to His manger throne.
God comes among us and the world is changed - but how can this little baby change hearts and lives? He is so small and insignificent, but he commands kings and nations to bow before Him and it is at this name - His name, the name of Jesus that every name will bow
For all who wait - nothing will be the same; but so often in the world it seems as if nothing has changed, yet when we approach the manger, we cant stand and look down at the child, we have to knee in front of Him and like shepherds and wise men we bring our gifts - the offering he desires is our hearts.
how will we greet the Christ Child this Christmas - is it just a carol or two or will we kneel before Him and cry "my Lord and my God"
May we know the joy of the Angels and the power of the Christ Child in our lives, not only at this Christmas time but for all times and may we be changed by the power of his love.
May i wish you all a very merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
