Remembrance Sunday is held on the second Sunday in November, (13th November) The day is the anniversary of the end of the hostilities of the First World War at 11 am in 1918, "to commemorate the contribution of British and Commonwealth military and civilian servicemen and women in the two World Wars and later conflicts"

In common with many churches, St Anne’s held a remembrance service for those in the Parish who gave their lives in both wars and other conflicts.
